Alternate reality
Grubeco was an location or establishment existing in 2259 in the alternate reality version of San Francisco. A building labeled Grubeco was near the waterfront of the Golden Gate, facing Alcatraz. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
The building can be spotted quite clearly the moment the USS Vengeance is seen hitting the water from the direction of the city, shortly after destroying Alcatraz. The apparent trajectory of the Vengeance, heading right for it, made it very likely that the Grubeco building was destroyed.
