A gravity simulator was a piece of Starfleet equipment capable of creating an area of artificial gravity.

A flux coupler was needed to activate the gravity simulator's power relays.

In 2257, while attempting to capture and hold an asteroid containing metreon particles in the USS Discovery's shuttlebay, Ensign Sylvia Tilly developed a plan to use a gravity simulator to account for the asteroid's mass. (DIS: "Brother", "New Eden")
