The Gideon Council was a governing body of the planet Gideon in Alpha Quadrant.

Ambassador Hodin spoke with the USS Enterprise while in the Council chamber. There were five people in the room, but it is unknown how many were assistants, or council members. When Spock asked to beam down Hodin said that he would have to take it up in the next full session. (TOS: "The Mark of Gideon")
