Gene Cross (born 19 October 1943; age 80) is an actor and musician who appeared as a follower of Sybok in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, directed by William Shatner. He received no credit for this appearance.

Other film work includes supporting roles in the war coomedy More American Graffiti (1979, with Erik Holland and Kevin Sullivan), the crime drama Escape from Alcatraz (1979, with Larry A. Hankin), the comedy Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip (1982), the comedy Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling (1986, with Barbara Williams, Mike Genovese, and Sam Hennings), and the television pilot of Alien Nation (1989, with Gary Graham, Eric Pierpoint, Michele Scarabelli, Ron Fassler, William Frankfather, Tim Russ, Jeff Austin, Aaron Lustig, Tierre Turner, Biff Yeager, Conrad Hurtt, and Noon Orsatti).

In addition, he worked as stand-in for Tom Skerritt on episodes of Picket Fences (1992, with Justin Shenkarow, Raye Birk, Deborah Van Valkenburgh, Michael Keenan, Kelly Connell, Roy Brocksmith, Jack Murdock, Ray Walston, and Peter Slutsker) and Philly (2001, with Joanna Cassidy, Kristanna Loken, Ron Canada, Robert Harper, Jennifer S. Parsons, Jamie McShane, and Michael Bailey Smith).

In 1996, he appeared in Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy (1996, with Eric Pierpoint, Gary Graham, Michele Scarabelli, Ron Fassler, Tim de Zarn, Jeff Allin, Josh Cruze, Juan Garcia, Kevin Grevioux, Bob Harks, Stuart Nixon, Cullen Chambers, Scott Barry, Ivy Borg, Dan Rose, Steve Diamond, Scott L. Schwartz, Gary Morgan, Denney Pierce, and Maria Kelly).

Cross also worked as set and production assistant on the thriller Side Roads (1988) and XXX: State of the Union (2005), as still photographer on the documentary Fire Eyes (1994), and as narrator on the documentary Boxers and Ballerinas (2004).
