Gamma Trianguli system was an inhabited planetary system in the Gamma Trianguli sector of the Alpha Quadrant. This single star system had six planets, including Gamma Trianguli IV and Gamma Trianguli VI.

In 2259, it was listed among several in the region surrounding the Kiley system as being home to a warp-capable civilization. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds")

That year, the location of this system was labeled on a stellar cartography chart that was seen on the USS Enterprise's ready room viewscreen. Initially, the symbol had a white color, indicating its status as a neutral system, before having an orange color. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds", "Children of the Comet")

In 2293, the location of Gamma Trianguli in the Milky Way Galaxy was labeled in a star chart that was in Captain James T. Kirk's quarters aboard the USS Enterprise-A. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, okudagram)

In 2365, the location of Gamma Trianguli was labeled in a Subspace Comm Net Ops star chart, which was seen in the courtroom on Starbase 173. This system was linked to an unnamed location. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")

In 2368, the location of Gamma Trianguli was labeled on the tachyon detection grid that was displayed on one of the viewscreens of the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Redemption II", okudagram remastered)

In 2399, the location of Gamma Trianguli was labeled in a star chart that was in Fleet Admiral Kirsten Clancy's office at Starfleet Headquarters. (PIC: "Maps and Legends")

In August 2024, an annotated computer paste-up of this star chart was put up for auction in the Entertainment Memorabiliia Live Auction: Los Angeles Summer 2024 by Propstore Auction. On the chart, Gamma Trianguli and Gamma Trianguli VI are two separate, unique locations. [1]

According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 37, "United Federation of Planets III") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the primary of the Gamma Trianguli system was an A-class star.
