In 2259, the location of this system relatively near the Cestus system and Deep Space 2 was labeled on a Federation star chart. (SNW: "The Broken Circle")
This star system was only mentioned in writing.
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 64) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the primary of the Galdonterre system was a K-class star.
