Galardon was the capital planet of the Galar system and apparent homeworld of the Galardonians. It was also home to such fauna as the spider cow and a stinging insect.
First contact between this planet and the USS Quito occurred in 2379. One year later, the USS Cerritos was sent to the planet to set up a subspace comm array during a second contact mission. (LD: "Second Contact")
In 2381, the Cerritos revisited the planet along with the USS Aledo as part of the "mission race" to prove the worth of the California-class against the Aledo's fully-automated Texas-class. (LD: "The Stars At Night")
