Erin Palmer is an electrician and lighting technician who worked as rigging electric on the second and third seasons of Star Trek: Discovery, as well as the first and second seasons of Star Trek: Short Treks.

Palmer worked as set decorator on the science fiction drama The Limb Salesman (2004) and as set decorator and set dresser on the short film The Human Kazoo (2004). Further credits in the art department and prop and model maker include The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep (2007), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008), District 9 (2009), The Lovely Bones (2009), Avatar (2009, with Zoë Saldana, Scott Lawrence, Peter Mensah, Jahnel Curfman, Ilram Choi, Lisa Roumain, Debra Wilson, and T.J. Storm), and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).

Also in 2004, Palmer started to work in the camera and electrical department.
