Energy field book

An energy field book was a type of book that resembled a traditional storybook, but would make its story "come to life" – by creating physical manifestations of the story's characters – when it was opened.

While performing anomaly consolidation duty on the USS Cerritos in 2381, Ensign D'Vana Tendi found an energy field book of Three Little Pigs in Doctor Migleemo's office. When she opened the book, it manifested large, aggressive versions of the titular pigs, who proceeded to wreck the office. (LD: "The Spy Humongous")
