Emory Erickson: Father of the Transporter was a biographical book written about the inventor of Earth's first transporter, Emory Erickson.

According to Trip Tucker, this book was the reason why he became an engineer. He explained to Jonathan Archer that his mother bought him a copy of this book when he was seven years old and that he "made her read it to [him] every night for a month." (ENT: "Daedalus")
