An example of such an occurrance occurred in 2375, after Seven of Nine requested that Qatai fire his tetyron based weapons at a pocket of antimatter from USS Voyager to force the bioplasmic organism to expel Voyager and Qatai's vessel. (VOY: "Bliss")
