Edward Clements was a former actor who was credited as a "Young Crewman" in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. His character was presumably the same "Younger Crewman", mentioned in one version of the script, who was standing next to Uhura when Gorkon was touring the Enterprise's research laboratory, who made the racist comment, "[w]ould you want your daughter to marry one?" Though his scene was deleted, he still received credit for his work.
Although he was listed as one of twelve "Promising New Actors of 1990" in John Willis' Screen World, Clements only other acting credit to date is the role of Tom Townsend in the 1990 drama Metropolitan. Thereafter he left acting to pursue employment with various religious organizations. [1]
