Ed Charnock (10 November 193731 October 1996; age 58), also credited as Ed Charnock, Jr., was a painter who worked in the art department of Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, and at least two Star Trek films.

Several items in Star Trek have been named for Ed, including:

Charnock also worked on Shōgun (1980) as a painter and on the drama Some Kind of Wonderful in 1987 as a paint foreman.

He was retired from Paramount Pictures at the time of his death.
