Dragon Dronet is a prop maker, property master, specialist for weapons, and occasional actor who made props like weapons, tools and miniatures, for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine[1], Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, and Star Trek: First Contact. He received no credit for his work. In addition, he appeared in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country as a Klingon in the trial scene and as a Klingon in an episode of Deep Space Nine.
For Star Trek: Generations, he created engineering tools, tricorders, a Klingon dagger, and communicators. [2] For First Contact, he made phaser rifles and Worf's Klingon weapon. [3]
Dronet made props for films such as Total Recall (1990), RoboCop 2 (1990), Batman Returns (1992), Theodore Rex (1995), Eraser (1996), Alien Resurrection (1997), and the short film Razor Sharp (2006) and MacGyver, Alien Nation, Space Rangers, The X-Files, Babylon 5, and Earth 2.
As an actor he was featured in Conan the Barbarian (1982, with stunts by Tony Brubaker), in Planet of the Apes (2001, starring David Warner, Cary-Hiroyuki, Erick Avari, Eileen Weisinger, and Kevin Grevioux), as a Predator in the short film Batman: Dead End (2003, with Scott Leva and Andrew Koenig), the action film Shira: The Vampire Samurai (2005), Dark Reel (2008), an episode of True Blood (2009, with Michelle Forbes), and the comedy Did You See That? (2009).
More recently, Dronet worked as costumer on the science fiction short film Bohemibot (2009) and on the science fiction short film O2 (2009), created special effects for the fantasy film Prince Vaali (2011, with action coordinator James Lew), and was associate producer on the short film The Sun Devil and the Princess (2012, with Tony Todd and Yoshio Iizuka).
