Deep Space Repair Beta Six was a Federation space station that was in service with Starfleet in the late 32nd century. This repair station was located several light years from the Kwejian system. In 3190, the commanding officer was Commander Nalas.
The shuttlebay was located on deck one.
In 3190, Deep Space Repair Beta Six encountered an unknown anomaly, which caused severe damage and sent it careening uncontrolled through space. Seven of the station's eight crew members (along with Sylvia Tilly and Adira Tal) were successfully evacuated, while Nalas was killed when debris from the station destroyed his escape vessel. The station and its escape pods were designed by Lee Fitzgerald. Its orange coloration was inspired by real-life oil platforms and tankers. [1]
