Deborah Arakelian is an Emmy and Writers Guild Award nominee who began her career working in production for film and television.
In 1982, she was Assistant to the Producers on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Two years later, in 1984, she was credited as a Production Assistant on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
In 1988 and 1989, she worked as Story Editor on Midnight Caller, starring Gary Cole, and as Executive Story Consultant on Quantum Leap, starring Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell.
She also wrote episodes for several television series, including Cagney & Lacey, Midnight Caller, The Outsiders, and Wolf. She received Emmy and Writers Guild Award nominations for her work on Cagney & Lacey.
