Crisis Point II: Paradoxus title card
Crisis Point II: Paradoxus was a holo-novel program patterned after a blockbuster movie. The program was based on the program Boimler Seven, created by Ensign Brad Boimler to help him prepare for a diplomacy workshop interview with Captain Carol Freeman and hijacked by Ensign Beckett Mariner.
The program was written by Boimler with the idea of being even better than the original Crisis Point: The Rise of Vindicta holo-novel and was even considered part of the "Vindicta-verse" by both Boimler and Mariner. However, Boimler's depression caused by the news that his transporter duplicate, Lieutenant junior grade William Boimler, was seemingly killed by a freak gas leak accident on the USS Titan lead to an unrelated "B-plot" being created in which he tried to seek out the meaning of life.
