Chris Silvestri, also credited as Christopher Silvestri served as writer's assistant on the first season and early-second season of Star Trek: Discovery. Together with Anthony Maranville, he wrote the Star Trek: Discovery episodes "The Red Angel" and "Forget Me Not" (also with Alan McElroy), and the Star Trek: Short Treks episode "Ephraim and Dot". He was promoted to staff writer for the third season.
The Starfleet officer C. Silvestri is named for him.
Between 2013 and 2015, he worked as writer's assistant on the series Hannibal, which (like Discovery) was developed by Bryan Fuller.
