Christopher "Chris" B. Schnitzer (born 4 December 1964; age 59) is a visual effects artist who worked as motion control technician and rigger for Image G on the sixth and seventh seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, the first through fourth seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and the first and second seasons of Star Trek: Voyager. Having joined Image G early 1993, his work for The Next Generation has been his earliest recorded credit in the motion picture industry.

Other credits for Image G include Coneheads (1993), the television series Viper, Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), The Tomorrow Man (1996), My Favorite Martian (1999, starring Christopher Lloyd), The Fast and the Furious (2001), Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), The One (2001), Ocean's Eleven (2001), Spider-Man (2002), Scooby-Doo (2002), and The Ring (2002).

From 2002 on, Schnitzer worked as visual effects production supervisor and director of visual effects for Warner Bros. on projects such as Ghost Ship (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), Catwoman (2004), Ocean's Twelve (2004), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005), Syriana (2005), The Lake House (2006), The Departed (2006), 300 (2006), Zodiac (2007), Ocean's Thirteen (2007), I Am Legend (2007), Speed Racer (2008), Yes Man (2008), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins (2009), Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove (2010), Clash of the Titans (2010), Jonah Hex (2010), Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010), Due Date (2010), The Hangover Part II (2011), Horrible Bosses (2011), Final Destination 5 (2011), and Contagion (2011).

He worked as director of visual effects on Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012), Rock of Ages (2012), Thunderstruck (2012), Jack the Giant Slayer (2013), The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013), and The Great Gatsby (2013).
