Brendan McKane (13 October 1948 – 29 December 2020; age 72)[1] is the actor who played a Relva VII technician in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "Coming of Age".
McKane had previously guest-starred alongside his TNG co-star Marina Sirtis in the 1987 Hunter episode "Down and Under". He also voiced numerous characters in the 1980s animated series MASK.
Following his appearance on TNG, McKane appeared in the 1991 film Delusion, starring Jim Metzler. He also appeared in an episode of Melrose Place alongside fellow TNG guest actor Dan Gauthier. He more recently worked on the television movie Hard Time: The Premonition, also featuring Richard Riehle.
He died on December 29, 2020 from cancer. [2]
