Brak was a character in Ferengi literature. Ferengi adults often read stories about Brak to their children, as they were simple in construction, as evidenced by the following example: "See Brak acquire. Acquire, Brak, acquire!"
Quark loved reading the stories of Brak to his nephew Nog when he was a baby. (DS9: "Accession")
This character was only mentioned in dialogue.
The Brak books are clearly referential of Dick and Jane, a series of books once used to teach beginning reading, which included a dog named Spot and the phrase "See Spot run! Run, Spot, run!"
