The bio-imaging systems were an imaging system used in the USS Enterprise-D sickbay.
On stardate 46578, Julian Bashir boarded the USS Enterprise-D to use its computer, hoping to find the function of what he believed was a medical instrument, possibly a medical scanner, discovered in the Gamma Quadrant. However, he did not ask for permission first, and the ship's bridge detected an unauthorized access into the computer's bio-imaging systems when a minor power drain manifested in the starboard EPS conduit.
