Shaxs' Bajoran dirge choir
The Bajoran dirge was a form of Bajoran vocal music performed by a choir. As the pieces emphasized sorrow, the entire choir would weep as they sang.
When he was off-duty, Shaxs ran a Bajoran dirge choir on the USS Cerritos, which he believed had "the saddest dirges in the quadrant." In 2381, he invited Brad Boimler to join as a soprano after being impressed by his wailing during a springball game.
