The Axanar Peace Mission was a diplomatic mission at the planet Axanar during the 2250s, in which Starfleet took part. It was designed to bring peaceful resolution to a conflict involving the Federation, with Fleet Captain Garth winning a major victory in the Battle of Axanar.

In 2268, a mentally-unstable Fleet Captain Garth was appalled at the thought that his victory led to a peace mission, claiming such missions to be the work of "politicians and weaklings". (TOS: "Whom Gods Destroy")
