Ariel Winter (born 28 January 1998; age 26) is an actress who voiced D'Erika Tendi in the Star Trek: Lower Decks fourth season episodes "Something Borrowed, Something Green" and "Old Friends, New Planets".

Winter is perhaps best known for her roles as Alex Dunphy on the long-running live action comedy series Modern Family from 2009 to 2020.

In addition, Winter is known for her work as a voice-over artist. Among her most famous works in this field are the 2007-2015 Disney Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb (alongside, among others, Malcolm McDowell and Seth MacFarlane) and as the title character on the 2013-2018 Disney Junior series Sofia the First (alongside, among others, Alan Ruck, Tress MacNeille, Corey Burton, Carlos Alazraqui, Dawnn Lewis, Dee Bradley Baker, and Grey Griffin).
