Picard's aquarium
An aquarium or fish tank was a transparent tank filled with water designed to hold species of life which required an aquatic environment.
In 2370, upon seeing a holographic re-creation of Jonathan Archer's ready room, William T. Riker noted that there was no fish tank, to which Deanna Troi replied, "How could Archer survive without a fish tank?" (ENT: "These Are the Voyages...")
In 2269, James T. Kirk and Spock were held in an aquarium in sickbay after a forced mutation restructured their lungs to work under water. Kirk remarked that he couldn't command the ship from inside of it. (TAS: "The Ambergris Element")
A halo fish was kept as a lab animal in a small aquarium in sickbay of the USS Enterprise. (TAS: "The Terratin Incident")
