Anne Cofell Saunders is an American writer and producer, who wrote the Star Trek: Discovery third and fourth season episodes "Scavengers", "Su'Kal", "Anomaly (DIS)", and "The Galactic Barrier" and served as co-executive producer on those seasons.

She previously wrote and produced episodes of 24, Smallville, Timeless, and The Boys (starring Star Trek's Karl Urban and Star Trek: Lower Decks' Jack Quaid.)

Her notable foray into space-based science fiction is Battlestar Galactica (developed and executive produced by Ronald D. Moore), penning the well-received episode "Pegasus " (guest starring Star Trek: The Next Generation's Michelle Forbes), in 2005.
