In a scene in the script but not the broadcast version of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine second season episode "Armageddon Game", Doctor Bashir used anabolic supplements to treat Miles O'Brien after he was infected by the Harvester weapon. The script gave the pronunciation of anabolic as "an-uh-BALL-ik".
