Ali Momen (born 19 October) is the actor who portrayed Kamran Gant and the mirror universe Kamran Gant, as well as Control possessing Gant's re-animated corpse, in Star Trek: Discovery.

Prior to Star Trek, Momen appeared in several movies and television series. In 2008, he appeared in an episode of The Border, with Nazneen Contractor and Grace Lynn Kung, and the movie Traitor (featuring Neal McDonough). 2010 saw him in an episode of How to Be Indie and 2011 in two episodes of Combat Hospital. 2012 he played the recurring character Navid in several episodes of The L.A. Complex, as well as a character in the documentary series Mayday.

In 2013, he performed in episodes of Cracked and Satisfaction and the movie The Animal Project (starring Hannah Cheesman). He was featured in two episodes of The Strain (with the voice of Robin Atkin Downes) and three of Space Riders: Division Earth in 2014. In 2015, he appeared in the short Drift and the feature film Beeba Boys. 2016 he was in the shorts The Choir and Valery's Suitcase as well as episodes of Kim's Convenience and the mini-series Houdini and Doyle (with Elias Toufexis).

In 2017, he appeared in episodes of Incorporated (with Mark Moses), Played, and Save Me.

Momen has also lent his voice to several video games. He voiced two characters in the 2013 game Splinter Cell: Blacklist (alongside Mimi Kuzyk and Elias Toufexis) and Roshani in the 2016 game Far Cry Primal; Toufexis voiced this game's protagonist.

Momen has also performed in musical theater. He is a veteran of the Toronto production of the musical Come from Away, in which he played several roles.
