The exterior of Ainos Barbershop after the Gorn attack
The Ainos Barbershop was a barbershop in the Parnassus Beta colony. Founded in 2237, it was located between the Lykaion Cafe and the Lapithas Market. Beside its entrance was a barber pole and a bell that served as a community alarm.
After the Gorn Hegemony invaded the colony in 2259, an USS Enterprise landing party temporarily hid from marauding Gorn hatchlings inside Ainos. The shop windows had been boarded up but the interior was empty and splattered with blood. (SNW: "Hegemony")
Like many of the establishments in the colony, this shop was named after a mountain in Greece.
