Today the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence unanimously approved a bill to reauthorize the nation’s intelligence programs for 2016. The legislation includes an amendment, drafted by U.S. Sen. Warner and co-sponsored by Sens. King (I-ME) and Hirono (D-HI), to require a comprehensive approach to the overhead satellite architecture that supports U.S. intelligence programs.
