“Subhas has the rare combination of technical understanding of the product, with the pragmatism and logical reasoning to determine the most likely path to bring that product to its completion. Too often program managers will be at either extreme; They will either allow engineering to overwhelm the product with too many great ideas, or they will fail to understand important technical aspects and detrimentally cut product features. Subhas has demonstrated, repeatedly, the ability to walk the tightrope in between. He is very easy to engage in conversation, and I have witnessed him equally able to talk up the hierarchy as well as to those he is managing. Always professional and appropriately formal for the situation, he can skillfully lighten the tone and add a bit of humor when such a thing would have (and in the past always has) improved the flow and agreement among those participating. If our role relationship were ever to change - and it was my own product and reputation on the line - I can not think of any other person I would call before Subhas, to assure that the product will successfully ship out. (Subhas and I collaborated on managing two separate wearable projects in Intel Corp.'s New Devices Group, from March 2017 until May 2018.)”
