Meet Fred Cook, one of our summer interns at Bollinger Shipyards. Fred is assisting our Mississippi Engineering team while pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from Mississippi State University. “I chose Bollinger Shipyards for my internship for several reasons. First, because of the environment, Bollinger is located close to my home and the workers are very nice and welcoming. Therefore, Bollinger seemed like a comforting place to intern. I also chose Bollinger Shipyards for the experience. I hope to further my knowledge about Electrical Engineering through hands on experience and gain more team building skills by collaborating with my co-workers.” #SummerIntern #Intern #InternSpotlight #MSState #MississippiState #WeRingTrue #FutureEngineer #WorkforceDevelopement #InternAppreciation #ElectricalEngineering

Meet Roston Brown, one of our summer interns at Bollinger Shipyards. Roston is assisting our Mississippi Engineering/Design team while pursuing a 3D Modeling & Design Technology degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. “I applied for the internship at Bollinger after a presentation at MGCCC in which they mentioned the design team being really tight-knit, and that all the senior designers were prepared to mentor. After three months, I can say I am very thankful I was given a chance! The people I work with are awesome, they are like my second family! Not to mention that I have learned something every day at this facility. I hope when I finish school, they keep me around as an official Bollinger employee!” #SummerIntern #Intern #InternSpotlight #MGCCC #WorkforceDevelopement #InternAppreciation #ComputerAidedDesign #FutureLeader

Meet Selina Rollins, one of our summer interns at Bollinger Shipyards. Selina is assisting our Lockport Engineering team while pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of New Orleans. “I’ve always admired Bollinger Shipyards because of the quality work I’ve seen them put into market, but what made me want to work here was the people, honestly. Few times have I met with different people from the same company who all seem to have faith in their workplace, or even like their job for that matter. When talking with anyone from the Bollinger team, whether it’s on a school campus on in the office, they all carry a sense of pride, respect, and integrity not only their personal work but also in their company.” #SummerIntern #Intern #InternSpotlight #UNO #UNOIntern #UNOProud #FutureEngineer #WorkforceDevelopement #InternAppreciation #MechanicalEngineering

Meet Nathan Cressionie, one of our summer interns at Bollinger Shipyards. A U.S. Marine , Nathan is assisting our Lockport Engineering team while pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from Louisiana State University. “Great Grandfather Harry started our history at Bollinger as a Structural Fitter. My father, Spence, has worked as an Electrical Engineer at Bollinger for many years, and my brother Luke came on a few years ago as an Electrician. It has almost become a rite of passage for our family. My time at Bollinger has taught me the electrical practices and design philosophies used within the maritime industry, expanding my concepts of design tremendously. Priding myself on Safety, Quality, Innovation, Serviceability, and Optimization, I am charting a course to excellence in all capacities of my trade.” #SummerIntern #Intern #InternSpotlight #MarineCorps #USMC #LSU #LSUIntern #FutureEngineer #WorkforceDevelopement #InternAppreciation #ElectricalEngineering United States Marine Corps
