Smart Save⁴

Software that tracks banking activity. This information helps identify when small transfers, up to $5.00, can be made from your checking to fund your goals.

Round Ups⁵

Your debit card purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar, with an optional additional savings amount added to each transaction and applied to your goals.

Automatic Transfers

Set up one-time and recurring transfers to fund your savings goals.

Citizens Savings Tracker™ FAQs

Citizens Savings Tracker is a tool for customers to build savings to reach a personalized goal such as saving for a new house, car, or dream vacation through the mobile app. The tool provides eligible customers with three options (Smart Save, Round-up, Pay Yourself First) to automatically save towards their personalized goals by simply doing their everyday banking activities. Or set up automatic transfers, to have recurring transfers to fund your savings goal.
- Pause your automatic savings program at the goal or program level
- Delete and create new goals
