1. Open the Wallet app

Go to Settings, Wallet & Apple Pay, then Select “Add Card.”

2. Enter and verify your card

Use your camera to capture your card information or enter it manually. Then follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.

3. Start shopping

Use your phone to tap and pay in stores that display this symbol dw-symbol or when checking out online or in app, click the Apple Pay button.

Add your Citizens debit or credit card to Apple Pay and then use your phone to tap in-stores or checkout online or in-app using the Apple Pay button. It's that simple!

Where to use Apple Pay

Look for this symbol dw-symbol in-stores for where Apple Pay is accepted. When checking out online or in-app just look for the Apple Pay button.

Security

Apple Pay is secure. Your card number is not stored in the phone or with merchants. Instead of using your card number, when you add your card a unique number is assigned. And your card in Apple Pay is protected by TouchID® and/or your device passcode. Since you don’t have to show your debit card, your private account information is protected

Apple Pay FAQs

1. Click on “Settings”.
2. Select “Wallet & Apple Pay”.
3. Select “Default Card” within Transaction Defaults.
4. Select your Citizens Card to set it as your default.
You can now set a default card for use as your “Express Transit Card”. To do this, follow similar steps above and select your Citizens Card within the Transit Cards settings.
