Capcom is a Japanese publisher that is most known for its several world famous best-selling game franchises . They own the highest-grossing fighting series Street Fighter , the best-selling horror series Resident Evil , the popular action series Devil May Cry , and the hit action RPG franchise Monster Hunter . They originally made their mark with popular arcade titles like Commando and 1942 , before becoming a worldwide phenomenon with challenging platformers like Ghosts n' Goblins and Mega Man , fighting games like Street Fighter , beat 'em ups like Final Fight , and licensed Disney games.
