The Hero's set is a set of vanity items composed of the Hero's Hat, the Hero's Shirt, and the Hero's Pants. The set's color is green on the PC version,
Console version,
Mobile version,
Old Chinese version, Nintendo
version,
tModLoader version, and
tModLoader 1.3-Legacy version and purple on the
Old-gen console version and
Windows Phone version. The pieces can be crafted from 20 Silk, requiring 140 Cobwebs, and three items of thread each:
3 Green Thread, requiring 9 Jungle Grass Seeds3 Purple Thread, requiring 9 Mushroom Grass Seeds
In order to craft an entire set, a total of 420 Cobwebs and 27 Jungle Seeds / Mushroom Grass Seeds are necessary.

- This set is a reference to Link, the protagonist of the fantasy action-adventure video game franchise The Legend of Zelda.
- The Hero's Hat, the Lamia Mask, and the Robot Hat are the only vanity items that appear to change the character's hairstyle.
- Even though the set is green on the Nintendo
version, it still requires Purple Thread to craft.
- Despite being a Nintendo console, the
Wii U edition of the game does not change the set to green.
