I have never played a Mortal Kombat game. Help me!

I have not been able to find a page yet that lists who fights for good and who fights for bad. Or who fought for good or bad at one point. Is there a page on the wiki that lists the good and bad characters? I really only know the characters from the first arcade game.

Good Characters= Raiden, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Jax, Kitanna, Kung Lao

Bad Characters=Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Kano, Goro, Shang Tsung

I don't know=Smoke, Blaze, that's all I can think of right now.

I also know a few others. But Sub-Zero eventually turns good right? And Liu Kang was an evil zombie?

Given the wide diversity of characters there is a possibility for just about anything what kind of characters would you like to see. I personally want to see a pirate type character.

On Friday Morning, 20-year-old Adam Lanza killed his mother, twenty children, six staff members, and eventually commited suicide at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, CT. It has become the 2nd deadliest attack on an American Public School.

While viewing the story line for the games I noticed some distinct difference between MK and MK2 story and MK: Shaolin Monks so I was wondering if MK:SH is canon or non-canon can you tell me.

I've been here for around 3 months now, and for at least a month straight now, there has been no one on chat.

This is not a complaint about very little editing activity.

I have been a fan of several Mortal Kombat characters for a long time, and can't stand when someone misquotes a character in any game in the series. In particular, there is a very obscene quote in the trivia area of Scorpion's profile. I know from experience with the mentioned game, Shaolin Monks, that what was posted was not said because the rating explanation said LANGUAGE not STRONG LANGUAGE, in the latter rating you might expect to hear such things, but in the former you do not. I would like to point this out especially to the creators of this Wiki, for future reffernce, in addition, I must suggest that obscene quote be removed, as it is a violation of the terms of the site.

What is up with the activity rate on this wiki, I mean it's like one edit every 3 hours!? I remembered a time when the wiki was thriving with people that were constantly contributing and chatting on this wiki and now it's pretty much empty, and the very few people on the wiki are hardly even editing. I know there is not that much to be done, but there is always stuff to be done and stuff to change.

For example: An issue that would constanty come up when I was on the wiki was Allies and Enemies which has still not been fixed, which can be noticed easilly by seeing that a lot of characters have tons of allies that they haven't even met and the same with enemies.

And yet I am sure that there is still very many other things that need to be fixed…

Now Im sure many people aren't even sure who the heck I am, because most likely you guys have probably moved on ever since Mortal Kombat 9 released and have been replaced by new contributors, but either way I have decided to come back to the the wiki, so for those of you who remember me hello and for those of you I'm about to meet I can't wait to meet so HELLO!

Ed Boon, the mastermind behind the MK series, revealed yesterday for CVG (ComputerandVideoGames) that he recommends to bring the next succesor of the highly acclaimed reboot Mortal Kombat (2011), to the next-generation consoles. He also discussed about the issues it could have (examples below):

"Just philosophically, I don't think we could take the approach of doing the same thing but adding new characters in our next Mortal Kombat game," he said.

Like the title says, does the MK series need anymore ninja characters?

I mean, seriously, it looks like just about every power has been taken for ninjas, so there would not be much variety.

So, what's your opinion? Are anymore ninjas needed? I believe we could have at least one more cyborg ninja join Cyrax and Sektor, yet in reality, everything has been taken for ninjas. Maybe it's time MK got a new character type that could be a big hit.

This is becoming (or rather, has been) an issue, especially as of late. Users (especially anons, at least one of which I've had to block) keep changing the height and weight without providing a source, and it is usually reverted with the next user asking for a source.

However, source or not, most articles don't have sources for the heights OR the weights (or even the age, for that matter). Perhaps those fields ought to be removed. I'm searching for sources and I'm not coming up with anything except for links back to here.

Hello everyone, new user here. I been an avid MK fan right from the first game especially its story, characters and lore. I had written this story about an year ago and submitted it at various MK forums where it had become quite popular and I had generally received good feedback. But knowing fully well that the heart and soul of MK fans visit this wiki and help enriching it with the tiniest of details, I wished to share it with you guys and get your feedback as well. Mortal Kombat had the best bios and endings. Mortal Kombat had great fighting zones and ending music. Mortal Kombat III was great. The fighting zones, characters, endings, fatalities, animalities, and stage fatalites rocked.

So far there have been two blog posts complaining about inactivity, and various users claiming that there is nothing to edit, nothing to do, so on and so forth.

I have been patrolling the wiki. I have found a number of things that need to be done, and have been working on some of it:

• The images in many articles are still all jacked up (images within the text, within section headers, on the LEFT side of the article when they need to be on the RIGHT). This makes the articles look messy and unorganized and makes them hard to read. There was a drive to fix this sometime last year. It's still going. The rules still do apply. I have seen pages divided into sections, which can each be edited alone and found in the table of contents. How can I create sections?

So, we all know that Noob Saibot was appearently destroyed in MK9 when he was thrown into the Soulnado. But what if it did not actually kill the Shadow Wraith?

What if it instead just split him into two characters:one still Noob, but the newly created entity is the elder Sub-Zero, Bi-Han, who is made up of what little humanity remained in Noob? So, we can now have the old Sub-Zero back, while still retaining Cyber Sub-Zero and the Noob we all love.

What do you think? Is it possible?

Yesterday, I was about to turn on my PS3 to play MW2 with my brothers and my cousin. However, after the green light turned on, it turned yellow for a brief moment of time, then turned red and started blinking, rendering my console useless.

I've heard about this before and that it is not an easy fix. Any ideas or tips on how to get my console working again? What should I do? Why did this happen? Has this ever happened to you before? I wanna know, please respond. Bye!

BTW, I have a 60GB Model PS3. It was used before and was refurbished by GameStop but it NEVER gave me any problems until now, and I've had it since last christmas.

Ok this was something ive been pondering about awhile ago and im curious to see if anybody else has the same opinions as to what will become of Noob Saibot in MK10.

In MK9 we all watched as Noob Saibot was thrown into the Soulnado which utterly destroyed him and the soulnado as well, but what if he gets reborn. Now hear me out on this, seeing as he is a wraith and was thrown into something as pure (if soulnado's could be classed as a pure vortex lol) as the soulnado actually creates an opposite effect on him, his soul being freed of corruption and granting him a new life, Noob Saibot returns as Sub Zero.

That was we can now have both Cyber Sub Zero and Classic Sub Zero, with the older brother's revival he can team up with the Earthrealm warr…

1. Like MK4, MK:DA & MKD, MK10 will have the advantage of 3D enviorment.

2. MK10 will give each character a fighting stance and a weapon.

3. There will be DLC's but they will not be the ones from MK9.(Kratos, Freddy Krueger, Skarlet, Kenshi, & Rain). People want new DLC's not the ones they just played with in the last game.

4. Rain, Kenshi & Skarlet may appear in the the game as playable characters & will be involved in the story. But since Freddy Krueger and Kratos are not actually from the MK universe they will most likely not be in MK10. Sorry guys...
