Some of us know that Ed Boon was hinting about a Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks HD Remake or possibly a sequel to the game. And I was wondering, do I actually want a sequel or a HD remake to happen right now? Think, if they remake the game, it's going to take a while to do so, meaning we won't see Mortal Kombat 10 (or X, however you want to say it) in while. If they just turn up the graphics like the HD version of Resident Evil 4, and not take the time to remake it, then I'm fine with that because I know it wouldn't take long at all to do that. As for a sequel, it would take NetherRealm like 2 Years to make that game, meaning we DEFIANTLY won't be seeing MK 10 (or X) in a while. This is part of my what if project "Kamen Fighter" a MK vs KR fighting story. Pitting a Mortal Kombat character against a Kamen Rider character.

This is one of my favorite ideas, one of those ideas that I am very passionate about. Mortal Kombat has the characters that are brutal, Kamen Rider has the characters that are cool. Mixing them up to see something "Brutal & cool" is part of the american dream.

OK, after reading MK Storyline and Taven's story on MK Wikia, i think we should fix them, because it says Taven defeated Blaze & Taven's ending is canon. John Vogel confirmed on twitter that Shao Kahn is the one who defeated Blaze, not Taven.

This blog talks thoroughly about a "what if..." about if DC nation made shorts about Mortal Kombat. For marketing reasons or just for the hell of it. What would you like to see for an MK short?

How come Warner Bros. has not made any Mortal Kombat references lately? If one were to think, because of WB's buyout on NR (which is considered the past now) you'd wonder if WB would cash-in on this in some way. Like a guest star (as in a comic or TV show), MK short as said above, or even a reference to it on their latest shows.

Feel free to ponder on this and if you want, you may describe how you would like for such a reference to occur.

Anyone think that the Earthrealm characters that died in the last game will come back to life to face Quan Chi and Shinnok in the next title?

I'm good in the universe of Mortal Kombat. I went through almost all the games. Read almost all Russian MK Wiki. But I do not understand. In MKA Konquest ending Blaze was defeated by Taven, and Taven become a god. On the Russian wiki says, that Taven was defeated by Shao Kahn. What about this saying developers? It is about who killed Blaze. Please, help.

So, I've said before that I don't like the look of the new Killer Instinct, most of the time I get a reply that says: "Why? Hello, I am RiderJones and I am a new user here. I've recently been a pretty good MK fan, started being one since Armageddon. Then on, Taven has been quite a favorite of mine.

This blog is intended to be an "introductory" for you guys. So that way, you can have a little sample of what I'm about.

I'm a quite a Saban kid, you know like "Power Rangers, Digimon, so on" which is kinda funny because of that Johnny Cage episode on Mortal Kombat: Legacy.

To be fair, I thought I should create my own roster idea seeing a lot of people are doing it so here are my th​​oughts.​

Main Kharacters:

Sub-Zero: Being a fan of Sub-Zero I thought I'd make him #1, besides I think he should be the protagonist of MK10.

Scorpion: With him being Sub-Zero's sworn enemy (And friend see MK2 and MK4 endings) I think he should be the antagonist of MK10.

Raiden: Seeing that he's the God of thunder I think he should be in the game but less of a role as in MK 2011.

Fujin: I think Fujin should make a return but with a larger role to make him less obscure in Mortal Kombat and give him one of the lead roles in the game.

Johnny Cage: You just can't have a game without him.

Liu Kang: Give him some new special moves and he's all…

Apparently there are objections over how I've been doing things, the most recent being promoting Byakuya600 to bureaucrat status due to MY inactivity. Cometstyles has sent me an angry email protesting this action, calling Bya as a troll, and blaming all future misdeeds (if it were to come to pass - and I don't see it) on me.

I stated as much in my reply to him, but I will say it here as well - loud and freaking clear. I stand behind my action 100%. I am not able to be here. I chose who I (and apparently several other users, including at least one other admin) think is a suitable replacement, someone who is active and contributes positively to the wiki. I told him this.

I personally think that Shujinko should reurn for MK10. I think he would be a great addition for the game. I understand that some people dislike him because he borrows moves from lots of other kombatants, but I believe he has loads of potential if the creators decide to give him more of a unique edge. After all, he was trained by Master Bo' Rai Cho, the main character in Deception and destroyed Onaga.

Mortal Kombat Aftermath

So it has been 3 years since Shao Kahn was banished for violating the rules of mortal kombat. Many innocents have perished at the hands of Shao Kahn's ill-fated invasion, with many of Raiden's chosen warrors were killed by Sindel whose power exceeds Shang Tsung. Johnny Cage along with Sonya Blade were very fortunate to have survived.

So we sense Shinnok and Quan Chi are plotting Earthrealm's invasion but like "The one" shinnok can mount a challenge on the deities.

Whilst events have unfolded Raiden is busy restoring Earthrealm. But his Amulet has cracked. Raiden using his vision finds out Shinnok is the mastermind. He then sends a call to Sonya and Cage. unsurprisingly the latter made a film about which won an Oscar aw…

Jacob is the older brother of Kitana and is the most feared being seeing as he has Shao Kahn fearing him. He trained under Sub-Zero and sets out to become the grand champion of Mortal Kombat after the recent death of Liu Kang his former friend.

I had noticed that despite varying degrees of success, the two TV series, the movies and Legacy all have aspects that would later be used in the main games. I think these could go into the main articles to add some intrigue.

Conquest had the first appearance of the Deadly Alliance and a concept for a character in the games. Noob Saibot's liquid composition would later be used in MK9. I believe the Konquest mode was likely named after the series, possibly as a sign of respect considering their premise.

Defenders of the Realm of course had Quan Chi.

The first movie retconned Kano to be half Australian in tribute to Trevor Goddard. Shang Tsung's catchphrase of course snuck its way into just about every game he's ever been in since.

Scorpion's character has been loosely based on a samurai background in a lot of variations outside of he actual games. It seems fitting that "The Last Samurai", and no I don't mean Tom Cruise, would play Scorpion.

the following includes some changes i'd like to see happen with the controls of a new MK game, or fighting games in general. it is somewhat complex, so mastering the controls would be more difficult for amateur players, but beginners would still be able to pick it up and play. keep in mind this layout is xbox 360 specific. also to follow is changes i would make in the special bar concept, furthering its importance.

A lot of people say they dont like him because he has no super powers and doesnt belong in MK. But i think he's extremely cool and one of my top favorite characters. He has no superpowers; Hes a human swat team guy, yet he can STILL beat up people who have super natural abilities, FFS he was able to defeat KINTARO and ERMAC,  and reptile, a mean, a huge shokan who breathes fire with 4 arms, and a telekinetic psychic, i mean cmon, he STILL can beat them up with no super natural abilities, who doesnt the bada**ness in that?
