So as many of you may know the official roster for MKX has just been revealed on E3 gameplay,so far it includes 24 characters excluding possible DLC,it has been recently revealed part of it was just made up for the show so we don't really know up to what part of it is actually real.Let's take a look at them first then I'll analyze other possibilities.This is also going to be used to keep track of who is playable and who could be playable from this day up to the release day in 2015.

Inspired by Gamer68's post, I want to write down my list of what do I expect from MK X.

Starting from what we already seen in the two trailers, I can say there will be from 3 to 6 new characters. In my opinion, the roster should contain at least 36 characters who should be:

1. Scorpion (already confirmed; hope to be the protagonist of the story)
2. Sub Zero (already confirmed; is he back from the dead?)

this is the first time that i have ever heard about the lastest Mortal kombat game and i just found out the kitanta and mileena's voice act will return.. and i was wondering on who else  would in the game and are there any new charaters in the game.

Nobody actually sees that love is non-existant. After I was kicked for not shutting up about it, I figured I'd save time and friendship in just posting a blog and being done with it, even though you will not take off the mask called Love.

1: Love is not real, all it is is a pain inducing false emotion that will suck your soul from you.

2:Masks are not needed, embrace hate and see that you can be freed from your shackles.

With Mortal Kombat X konfirmed (which is said like "Eks", according to Ed Boon), our excitement levels our over 9000. Which means, we like to talk about Mortal Kombat X. And so, this is something talking about it. More specifically, what I would like to see in MKX!.

Mortal Kombat X, the followup to NetherRealm Studio's 2011 series reboot, was announced today via a tweet from series co-creator Ed Boon. Polygon reports that the game will be available for PS3, PS4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, so you'll be able to scratch that blood-soaked fatality itch regardless of your console preference (unless you're a Wii U owner.)

Jokes aside, as many of you folks are aware, MKX has been announced, but for now may I stress. Please, do not create a page for it. We're currently waiting for more information on the game and when we get more a page will be created. It feels kinda pointless to create a page right now as we've only got a confirmation on the game, two characters, a rather vague release date (2015) SOME mechanics which may (or may not) be in the game.

It'd also be appreciate if images from the trailer weren't added into pages until the page for Mortal Kombat X is created with a good amount of information, the images can be uploaded on the wiki for time keeping.

Well... finally, Mortal Kombat X, the tenth installment in the ultra gory, violent and controversial fighting game series, has been confirmed this morning by Ed Boon. With a new MK teaser and e3 coming up, we're going to be streaming E3 in mk chat on June 9-12. This blog will be updated with links to the conferences and news that come out during e3. For those who can't come, we'll be putting the livestream link in the blog as well. The links will also be available in chat, they will be continually posted throughout the event. Recently I heard rumors of a hack in MK9 of people playing as Shao Khan. Can anybody validate these rumors?

So first of all I'm pretty new to this wiki. And I I'm not always the best at grammar or spelling, so give me a break.

Now there hasn't been too much going on in the world of Mortal Kombat for the time being, so I'm guessing that's why there's not much activity here lately. And I'm not sure who the admins are, or who will even read this. But I'm thinking the top of the wiki should be a little better. I can't even read what's up there because the words are all yellow. Why make the colors of the words the same color as the background? Also, why is it rain? Was it when he first got released? If so I'd say its time for a change. Granted you guys are probably aware, but Wikia is having a large amount of problems including random notifications from wikis you've likely not been on. Pictures are also affected so please don't edit them in or shape or form, it's Wikia's server being a pain in the ass, I've noticed Mileena's infobox image was removed and re-added under the summary "Something's wrong with the image", it's not the image as I've said above. So if there's any odd fuck ups with the images just ignore them, what's more concerning is how long it'll take Wikia to sort it out. I've also noticed some forms of chat lag on other places and at random points major lag outs, again sadly on Wikia's part.

According to this article, the director of the first two seasons is back and is about to start discussing with Warner Brothers for production of Season 3 of the online series.

Not much, but it's news nonethelsss, I enjoy the series and really wanna see a season 3.

Hey, guys, I wasn't sure if it was OK to do it like this, but I've been thinking on an idea here and there for an alternate universe for the MK universe like how Shaolin Monks and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe have been done, doing what Mortal Kombat 9/2011 does, but to slow the pacing and go for the first game in a new light.

The concept in my head has been called Mortal Kombat Reborn. This first game would be called The Journey Begins, and follows not only the original 10 Kombatants but a mix of returning kombatants from other games as well as characters from other MK canons and new characters.

What I wanna know is what you guys would think to do in a reboot in a different universe set from what Netherrealm is doing right now post MK9/2011…

Kiefer Sutherland, an actor who has currently been doing the voice for Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V, has confimed that there is a new MK game, and he has been doing a voice for the game. "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game but it's not like MGSV" said Sutherland. Sutherland has been working on the next Metal Gear Solid for over a year, but he said that he completed Mortal Kombat "pretty quickly compared to MGSV".

So there you go, a new Mortal Kombat game is in the works, and has Kiefer Sutherland is doing a voice for the game. But of course, he did not say what role he had in the game, or any other info about the game.

Hello.

I recently bought Mortal Kombat 2011 and I have trouble beating Shang Tsung. Even on Beginner difficulty I still have trouble killing him. Can anybody give me tips on how to kill Shang Tsung, and Goro/Kintaro and Shao Kahn if possible?.

If so, that'd be extremely great and I'll give you an invisible birthday gift that contains air. Ahh, free air.

I haven't really seen anything about this on the wiki. Tell me what you all think of this video and all that good stuff. Also there's an alternate ending. That's all I got.

I think it's awesome! I love the UI, it feels simple, but at the same time more advanced than the PS3's UI. The PlayStation Store only takes like 3 seconds to load now, which is crazy compared to how long it takes to load on the PS3. The games look better than on videos that they showed (of course, since they have to compress the video). The lightbar on the DualShock 4 is really cool, I like how player 1 is blue and player 2 is red, I like that, how every player gets a color other than just a red light appearing over a number like on the DualShock 3. I know a lot of people say it shines on the TV, but no, not really. As long as the screen on the game is bright and not on a black loading screen, you will hardly see it. You can also just hol…
