- This story continues from Uncanny X-Men #474
- The Black Panther proposed marriage to Storm in Black Panther (4th series) #14 and again in Black Panther (4th series) #15. She accepts his proposal in the latter, and it appears this story also takes place during the time-frame of that issue.
