The middle of the vacation is a time when, in a quieter atmosphere than usual, you can think about plans for the rest of the year. Let’s take a look at the holiday shopping season. The main distinction between the holiday shopping season and other times of the year lies in consumer sentiment. Typically, customers are more curious and inclined to make new purchases leading up to holidays. Each holiday event has its own unique nuances, though we distinguished five common strategies for these specific periods: 1️⃣ Reacquisition/Reinstall campaign Businesses often have former customers who haven't made a purchase in a while. These customers are a promising pool of potential buyers, especially during promotional periods. Our studies show brands see 3.7 times more lapsed customers returning during events like Black Friday. 2️⃣ Teaser campaigns This promo method leverages anticipation before celebrations. Teaser campaigns generate interest and excitement as people prepare for the big day. They allow early contact with customers, which is crucial as 42% of customers make holiday decisions early, making it a key differentiator or a way to build anticipation for new products.
