Mobile print is fully native on iOS & Android

Developers: Want to add print to your mobile app?

Printing is now fully native to both iOS and Android (since the Oreo release in Aug. 2017), so HP has deprecated its handy SDK. It can still be used, but it will no longer be maintained or supported.

To add a Print button to your app, go straight to the OS documentation:

Good news if you used the HP Mobile Print SDK

Were you an early adopter of HP's Mobile Print SDK? If so, what happens now?

First, thank you for being part of our print journey. Secondly, we have good news. You can continue to use our SDK for your apps, including modification. However, HP will now halt updating the print SDK and end maintenance efforts. We recommend that you transition to the native OS print capabilities, which are now superior and will be maintained.

Thank you again for your support. We look forward to working with you to make the future of print even brighter.
