This walkthrough contains information about the various endings to Dragon's Dogma 2 and how to obtain them. It goes without saying that this page contains major spoilers. Check out the guide below:
Dragon's Dogma 2 Endings Guide
Bad Ending - Refuse to face The Dragon
During the main quest Legacy, which takes place atop the Moonglint Tower, The Dragon will appear and give you the choice to fight him or run away and keep your life.
Choose to run away and you will view a short cutscene where your Arisen is crowned in a somber, empty coronation ceremony.
Good Ending - Defeat The Dragon and Accept the Throne
During the main quest Legacy, which takes place atop the Moonglint Tower, The Dragon will appear and give you the choice to fight him or run away and keep your life.
Choose to face The Dragon and you will face him in a final climactic battle. Defeating him sends you to a different, much more cheerful coronation ceremony than the Bad Ending. Choose to take the throne and you will be sent back to the title screen with the option to begin New Game Plus.
True Ending - Escape the Cycle
During the main quest Legacy, which takes place atop the Moonglint Tower, The Dragon will appear and give you the choice to fight him or run away and keep your life.
Choose to face The Dragon. Defeat The Dragon, then attend the coronation ceremony. Instead of sitting down on the throne, speak to The Pathfinder who is sitting at the table near the throne. He will offer to give you another chance, sending you back to the moment before The Dragon battle.
During the long flight cutscene where you have control of your character, open the item menu and select the Empowered Godsbane Blade. Use it to stab yourself (you may need to climb down to the dragons heart first) and you trigger a long cutscene that eventually leads you to a new section of the game known as the world unchosen.
This area is an apocalyptic alternate version of the world you were exploring before. There are new areas to see, quests to complete, and bosses to defeat, but you are on a timer. Eventually a red fog will eat up the map, forcing you to summon The Dragon again and return to the normal world. Seeing this ending forces you to enter New Game Plus.
