Scam - Large purchase declined

Placed an order via topcashback, empty cart, ordered was placed within minutes of click through, no other coupons - all legit all rules followed.
Order immediately showed up in click history with proper cashback amount - great, a day later amount goes to zero - no reason given.

Order was legit, items were received and not returned, plus, upon contact, vendor confirmed to me that commission was already paid out to topcashback yet topcashback is not even responding to a claim filed on their site and so far refusing to pay. If a vendor refuses to pay commission I understand that topcashback wouldn't pay but since they were paid this is plain theft.

Looks like topcashback is playing games with larger orders when they can pocket the money.

The response below is a seemingly canned response with no info and the refusal to engage and rectify this says it all.

Did Not Get Large Cashback Amt and No Real Reason Given

I purchased a priceline travel package using topcashback click thru in February of 2023. Based on the requirements for cashback, it was supposed to have been covered. After purchase, there was no adjustments made to package, no changes, and none of the other things they say that would nullify the cashback. After many months of dragging feet, allowing required time to pass, and waiting for retailer responses, my claim was rejected June 2024 without notifying me of such status. There was not a specific reason given for decline and support responses were a waste of time mainly stating it was a priceline decision. If there was a real reason why did it almost a year and half to come up with actual decline? So disappointed and out almost $300. This feels like false advertising having bought priceline thru topcashback and then not following thru with the actual cashback.

Update: Appreciate your response Phil, but as stated in the claim, it was not commissionable due to topcashback not being the referrer? Like with other offers, I go through the same steps starting on the topcashback site and clicking thru, putting product into my cart, and making payment. And even with with this unsatisfactory response, the amount of wait time to receive this response is crazy. It's been over a year since the vacation and about a year and half since purchase.

We would usually see travel cashback needing the stay to be completed before any reviews for eligibility are completed with the affiliate network through the missing cashback claims process.

We can see that the decline reason is that the purchase is non commissionable meaning that we could be not seen as the referrer to the purchase. We can see that the team have provided full information on the decline that we have been passed by the affiliate network.

Slow but steady

It takes awhile for money to be added for withdrawal, this is my 3rd withdrawal. Love the extra bonus they give you for taking a online cash out instead of a actual card.
