Excited that we launched a new feature so you can share your Pinterest boards as a video! Sharing my "Easy canvas painting ideas" board. Assignment from my career coach: "Find a fun hobby that you'll likely not be very good at." (Yes, my "failure isn't fun" mantra was deemed too strong. 😁 ) Zero art training or skills, so I looked to Pinterest for inspiration for easy subjects! It has turned out to be a fun hobby mostly because my much-more-skilled and generous 19-year-old son paints with me. 😍 https://lnkd.in/gDYynANv

While at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Pinterest joined with Gold House to host a Gold Toast to bring together Asian Pacific senior media, marketing, and creative executives at the Pinterest Manifestival. It was so wonderful to meet so many impressive leaders and come together as a powerful, inclusive group! Other companies say they’ve “reached” their users, but I prefer to say that we’ve EARNED our users. And I’m so proud to share that we’ve just earned over half a billion monthly active users just in time to celebrate our fifth anniversary as a public company! Inspiring half a billion people to use Pinterest each month is a huge milestone – and I think of each of those users as individually hard-won and a testament to our product team for their innovative thinking, commitment to inclusion, and their unwavering commitment to conquer complex technological challenges every day. Today I got to join my colleagues to ring the opening bell at the NYSE to commemorate how far we’ve come – and how much further we’re going to go. A huge thank you to all the product engineers, product marketing, product management, and design team who made this day happen! Today also happens to be my one-year "Pinniversary" from my first day at Pinterest on May 15, 2023. I've thanked the team for the NYSE celebration and have noted they have a whole year to come up with something even bigger for next year. 😁

It was such an honor to attend this past weekend's Gold House hosted #GoldGala. Being in the midst of Asian leaders across areas like the arts, media, and business inspired me to consider what audacious goals we can accomplish together as an Asian Pacific Community. Thank you Bing Chen for creating such a special event and igniting all of our imaginations! I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Hamburg to speak at OMR and spend time with our local colleagues. It was great to connect with the talented and passionate team in person and to get a taste of Germany’s vibrant culture and innovation. During my keynote today, I shared our vision for Inclusive AI at Pinterest and how it's essential to create products that are equitable and empowering for everyone. It was so inspiring to see the positive response from the audience and know that we're part of a movement that's making a real difference. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have met so many amazing people in Hamburg.
