Ki Juranbarada (キイ・ジュランバラーダ, Kī juranbarāda), also known as Lost Warlord, is a vampire and the First Primogenitor. He rules his empire with his overwhelming military might and has great influence upon the other Primogenitors. He is one the major factors that the Holy Ground Treaty was signed, allowing humanity and demon-kind to peacefully coexist.

He is one of the last surviving members of the Deva civilization before becoming a Primogenitor along with Giada and Aswad.

Appearance[]

Ki has short steel gray hair and was noted to be fairly tall. He has a slender but muscular build, and gives of an impression of a soldier or athlete. He has been seen wearing a tank top with rough, baggy pants and coarse work boots.

From his appearance, he seemed to be in his early twenties. He had short hair and was a tall guy, probably over a hundred and ninety centimeters. He was slender, but thanks to his musculature, he didn’t give off a weak impression whatsoever. He gave off the air of a soldier, or perhaps an athlete. He was not what you’d call a pretty boy, but he was certainly a good-looking man. He was wearing rough, baggy pants and coarse work boots. On his upper body, he wore a tank top, and he had a leather parka slung over a shoulder. His exposed left shoulder was decorated with a dragon tattoo.^[2]

One might call him handsome, but the man was very good-looking in general. He was slender, yet his physique was reminiscent of a modern sports athlete. He had tough-looking cargo pants and rugged work boots, but they nicely matched the atmosphere he gave off.^[1]

Personality[]

Despite rarely interfering in the world personally, Ki is shown to be a calm and relaxed individual most of the time. Despite his immense power and military might, he doesn't seem to enjoy the needless violence and tries to keep the peace between humans and demons as much as possible.

Maybe because being the first primogenitor, Ki as well as the other primogenitors has greater knowledge about familiars than other vampires, and most likely him and the other primogenitors know more about beast vassals than any other vampire alive today. This is evident as he stated to Kojou that even he wouldn't be able to tame them as they are just beasts living within them.

Background[]

He was the ruler of the world’s oldest Dominion, the Lost Empire, and he was the man who’d drafted the Holy Ground Treaty stipulating coexistence between humanity and Demonkind. It was no exaggeration to say that he had single-handedly brought the peace and prosperity of the present age into being. Even among the three Primogenitors publicly acknowledged to exist, the Lost Warlord was both the most dangerous and the most mysterious.^[2]

A War of Primogenitors[]

During a conference in the Garden of Whispers, the three Primogenitors, including Ki, announced that Dimitrie Vatler has obtained knowledge of The Cleansing, and orders an attack on Itogami Island.

Kingdom of the Valkyries -The True Story-[]

Ki and Zana Lashka briefly encountered Kojou Akatsuki and Yukina Himeragi at the airport, mentioning that they were headed to Itogami Island. Ki and Zana left quickly, evading Veres Aladar and his subordinates.

Abilities[]

Enhanced Vampiric Abilities: As a vampire, he possesses supernatural strength, speed, reflexes, and durability. However, as the First Primogenitor and former Deva, all of his abilities are far above that of most vampires and is virtually immortal.

Beast Vassal Summoning: Lost Warlord has 72 beast vassals.

1st Familiar Parhelion	It took the form of a beast—that of a wolf so enormous, it could swallow even the Necropolis in one gulp. This was the starving wolf that ate all dead, the wolf that would never be satisfied, the one that had consumed the sun and the moon to taint the heavens with blood.

Magic Mute: A unique ability special for Ki alone. He can cancel the effect of opponent's magic by colliding their magic and once he cancel out this ability the effect of opponent's magic return back to normal. Colliding opposing demonic energy with magical energy to wipe it out and nullify the magic. Magic muting using interference from demonic energy, technology that military researchers and sorcerous engineers all over the world can’t make viable, and he used it with just flesh and blood.^[1]
