My Hero Academia Wiki

Since watch the My Hero Academia (Anime) many times, Ochaco Uraraka has became one of my favorite characters along with Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki and maybe a few others. Since finding out from the U.A. Sports Festival Arc that Ochaco was poor and became a hero for the money to give back to her parents. Then later in the manga chapter 212 she would later become a hero to help a hero in need. Since I watch this video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq39P_HY3S0 I have been really confused if Ochaco's parents really did or did not live with her when she was young.

I don't really know if Ochaco's parents lived in their own place or with Ochaco when she was young. Because it was neither confirmed or denied. In Chapter 212 it's known that Ochaco's parents work caused them to be very tired, from their poor wage job. After the sports festival in Episode 25 Ochaco's parents are seen scaring her to throw her a surprise party. In that episode it's known that Ochaco's parents construction company is somewhere in Japan that cause them to travel on the bullet train. I'm not sure if Ochaco's parents lived in the Uraraka Apartment with Ochaco or not. But I cannot confirm this only Horikoshi can confirm this. Maybe Ochaco's parents do live with her or not in other My Hero Academia's manga's or comics maybe in My Heroine Academia or the My Hero Academia: School Briefs or something else.

If they did live with Ochaco[]

If Ochaco's parents did live with her in the Uraraka Apartment. Her parents were probably teaching her life skills like cooking and other things. To make her independent in case that her parents are not home or came home late. And probably had a neighbor or friend or a family member to supervise a young Ochaco when they were at work. And it's most likely that her parents woke up early to go to work and didn't take Ochaco to school. It's possible that Ochaco took the bus or school train to get to school before she got into U.A. High School. And probably Ochaco was still taking a bus or train to get to U.A. before the students were moved into the Heights Alliance.

If they didn't live with Ochaco[]

If Ochaco's parents didn't live with her in the Uraraka Apartment. Her parents must of being doing something that is pretty illegal. Because in a flashback with Ochaco's parents she was very young. There's a law that states that you cannot leave people under the age of 12 unsupervised, but somewhere about the age of 13 years can be left unsupervised. It's possible that Ochaco's parents came home very late and probably asked their neighbor or friend or a family member to supervise on Ochaco until they came home. I don't know if Ochaco's parents would hire a babysitter for Ochaco because it would cost money for them. And I don't know if Ochaco's parents lived somewhere else if Ochaco was living on her own.

I really don't know why Ochaco's parents had an Construction Company when their Quirks didn't help with them with their job. I think that they couldn't get a new job that suited their Quirks for them. It's possible that Ochaco's parents didn't have the requirements that possibly came with jobs they probably were trying to apply for. It's possible that Ochaco's parents to forced to have a construction company because maybe people that had similar quirks to them already took the position and their wasn't enough room for them to employ them. Or Ochaco's parents wanted to have a construction company because it's possible that they like building stuff. But do to the events of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, Ochaco's parents are really going to be busy with their construction company for what ever city they live in. And their probably going to get their moneys worthy do to the destruction to the city do to the Paranormal Liberation Front and Gigantomachia and the League of Villains. I guess that they are probably going to get big bunks from the cities that they have to repair from many destructions that has happened during the War Arc.

I'm going to say that Ochaco's parents most likely did live with her but weren't around much as they were busy with work when they were working on a construction. And probably came home late. They also probably stayed to take care of her when they weren't called into work for constructions that they would have to work on. It's also known in some construction companies if you run out of funds, you can't continue to work on the construction project until you have more funds or something else.
