General Reiko is a character in the 2021 Mortal Kombat film. Reiko is portrayed by Nathan Jones.
Biography[]
General Reiko was among the Outworld force under Shang Tsung's command along with Sub-Zero, Mileena, Kabal, and Nitara. After Lord Raiden's barrier that protected Raiden's Temple from Shang Tsung's force was sabotaged by Kano, Reiko joined the assault on the Temple, where he fought and defeat Jax Briggs before the champions of Earthrealm were teleported to the Void by Lord Raiden.
Afterwards, Reiko was transported to the place where Jax was waiting for him by Lord Raiden. There, Reiko was soon outmatched by Jax, whose Arcana recently awoke. Eventually, General Reiko was badly beaten by Jax and killed with a Head Clap that completely smashed his head.

- It is worth noting that among those characters from games, Reiko and Nitara are the only two who have not been introduced as playable characters since the 2011 game that serves as the reboot of the franchise. Additionally, both of them are introduced to the Mortal Kombat franchise since Mortal Kombat 4, in which Reiko makes his first appearance.
- Of the two, Reiko is present in the alternate timeline due to his appearances in the Mortal Kombat X Comic Series, however, he has finally appeared as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1, set in the new timeline.
