The Osh-Tekk is a minor character of Kotal Kahn's army that briefly appears in Mortal Kombat X and is a playable character in Mortal Kombat Mobile. Despite having this name, they are not a part of Kotal Kahn's race.

The Osh-Tekk briefly reappears in Mortal Kombat 11 along side Kotal Kahn and his forces.

Appearance[]

In both Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat Mobile, they have identical appearances, and all the Osh-Tekk that appear in the MKX Story Mode look identical to one another, wearing a helmet fitted with a skull mask along with shoulder pads and no upper body armor with war paint similar to Kotal Kahn's Osh-Tekk tattoos going across their chest and arms.

In Mortal Kombat 11, the Osh-Tekk no longer have identical appearances, with many of the warriors appearance being completely different from the next. The game also features female Osh-Tekk warriros.

Mobile Game Moves[]

  • Bloodthirsty: Outworld teammates receive +5% Attack. (MK Mobile - Osh-Tekk Card - Passive)
  • Tlaneltocaz: The Osh-Tekk performs a spin kick, then shoulder charges the opponent, knocking them away. (MK Mobile - Osh-Tekk Card)
  • Tonaltziantli: The Osh-Tekk delivers a series of punches that knocks the opponent down with the final punch. (MK Mobile - Osh-Tekk Card)

Trivia[]

General[]

  • Despite the name, the Osh-Tekk is not a part of Kotal Kahn's race, rather they are Outworld soldiers wearing traditional Osh-Tekk armor wore by the race's warriors.

Mortal Kombat Mobile[]

  • Unlike many of the Bronze character cards, the Osh-Tekk borrows all of its combos and attacks from Kotal Kahn in MKX.
  • Kotal Kahn's War God Card has the ability to summon an Osh-Tekk to fight for him, this being achievable through the card's Special 2. The warrior can only perform a Special 1 attack, however any Equipment Card effects that benefit Special 1 attacks equipped to Kotal Kahn are passed to the warrior.
